Livin’ the Dream is a personal story about synchronicity, creativity, comedy, and the surreal adventure of following a dream. DIY filmmaker Mike Newman has been given an amazing opportunity to document stand-up comedian Dan Cummins, who is at a point in his career that has rarely been captured on camera. The plotline will follow Dan’s journey of rising up the ranks in the world of stand-up comedy and ultimately, this movie will be a behind-the-scenes look of the sacrifice involved and the rewards one receives after many grueling years of working really hard in pursuit of a dream.
This project has been a work-in-progress since late 2008.
